The 6-minute piece looks at the dramatic increase in poverty and food insecurity in rural Tuolomne County, California, near Yosemite National Park, and at the ways in which older residents are trying to cope. The first piece in the series, “A Little Goes a Long Way,” looks at efforts to increase elderly participation in the food stamp program in Texas.
